My mornings used to consist of snoozing my alarm 7 times before I actually got up to get my day started. To be honest, some days I would wake up and the first thing to come out of my mouth was “Ughhh”. It wasn’t until I founded Bethel & Co that I began to incorporate aromatherapy into my morning routines, and it has completely changed my attitude.

On my bedside table sits my phone, a vase with some pretty flowers, and our handmade Mondaze Reed Diffuser with the relaxing scents of lavender to melt your stress away and eucalyptus and peppermint to invigorate your senses. This small addition has completely changed the game for me. Now I wake up more easily in a sensory oasis I've created, so I can relax in bed and enjoy scrolling through social media instead of snoozing my alarm and dreading the day.

Not sure why you need these oils? Let me give you the inside scoop:

Lavender Oil- One of the most popular scents in aromatherapy, lavender has many research-supported benefits including promoting relaxation and reducing anxiety and depression. This calming and subtle scent is the perfect way to prepare yourself to take on those everyday stresses.

Eucalyptus Oil- In addition to its pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory properties, eucalyptus is a potent respiratory aid. Studies show that inhaling this scent enhances the breath and boosts mental clarity.

Peppermint Oil- This invigorating oil is a natural stimulant, which means that it packs a powerful punch in helping you shake off your sleepiness and increase concentration. It is also a known mood-booster, enhancing feelings of happiness and easing stress.

One of my favorite reasons to keep a reed diffuser next to my bed is because it is always working. I don’t have to turn it on, burn it, or plug it in. I stick a couple of Rattan Reeds in the bottles and let it work on its own. I usually flip the reeds twice a week to keep it fresh and fragrant.

How would you use our Reed Diffuser to elevate your morning ritual?
